Low-Income Assistance PDF Print E-mail
Medicare beneficiaries may be eligible for extra help with their prescription medication costs if they have limited income and resources. The extra help can increase their cost savings by paying for part of the monthly premiums, annual deductibles, and prescription copayments under the prescription drug program. The extra help could be worth up to $3,600 per year.

The Social Security Administration has developed a number of brochures and other helpful materials to explain how beneficiaries can apply for additional assistance. To request copies of these free materials for your pharmacy, download and complete a materials order form and return to the Social Security Administration.
