

William (Bill) Popomaronis, R.Ph., is vice president, long term and home health care pharmacy services, for the National Community Pharmacists Association, a position he has held since 2002. Prior to joining NCPA, Popomaronis served as the chief executive officer for Anchor Pharmacies, a mid-Atlantic pharmacy mergers and acquisition company. He is the co-founder and former president of EPIC Pharmacies, an independent pharmacy buying group and pharmacy benefits management company. For more than 20 years, Popomaronis was the owner of Edwards and Anthony Pharmacy in Baltimore County, Maryland. Currently, he is the only pharmacist serving on the CMS Program Advisory and Oversight Committee for DMEPOS competitive acquisition.
