Reducing Cardiovascular Risk in Patients with Mixed Dyslipidemia
This activity, based on a teleseminar series presented to physician audiences in December 2007 and January 2008, will review the impact of elevated triglycerides on cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk in patients with mixed dyslipidemias, strategies for assessing and monitoring lipid treatment goals, and treatment options for reducing CVD risk in patients with mixed dyslipidemias.

PARKINSON'S DISEASE: CURRENT CONCEPTS IN NEUROPROTECTION AND PROSPECTS FOR THE FUTURE
This activity is designed to present the current insights on neuroprotection in PD and how they may affect the future treatment of PD. The challenges surrounding the development of neuroprotective drugs will be discussed as will the candidate agents for neuroprotection and new approaches to identifying neuroprotective agents.

Targeting GERD Complications in Older Patients: An Educational Update for Pharmacists
This activity is designed to provide clinical and managed markets pharmacists with education on gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), differences in GERD manifestations in older versus younger patients, and the risk/benefit of various GERD management strategies in order to minimize GERD progression and complications and reduce the clinical and cost burden of disease.
