Practical Approaches to Managing the High-Risk Patient with Complex Dyslipidemia
The program begins with the presentation of a complex case of dyslipidemia, in which the patient has normal LDL cholesterol levels. Following a presentation on the epidemiology of dyslipidemia, emerging data on surrogate markers such as apoC-III, CRP, LpPLA2 and Lp(a) are presented.

The Diabetes Dilemma: Combating An American Health Crisis
This interactive, case-based activity will review emerging therapies and treatment protocols for diabetes, strategies to encourage therapeutic adherence and improve decision-making through pharmacoeconomic evaluation, and describe best practice models that showcase improved patient outcomes and quality-of-life while reducing over health care expenditures.

Case-Based Approaches for the Management of Dyslipidemia: Targeting LDL-C, HDL-C, TG and Lp(a)
This highly interactive program tests your knowledge of diagnosing and managing mixed dyslipidemia through the presentation of complex cases. The use of questioning via an audience response system allows you to weigh in on treatment selections as you compare your therapeutic choices with those of your peers and the faculty.

Optimizing Patient Outcomes in Asthma
This program will review current guidelines for the assessment and treatment of asthma and will discuss strategies to evaluate and enhance treatment adherence. Recent clinical trials and their potential impact on clinical practice will also be discussed.
