Improving Outcomes in Diabetes Care: Benefiting Patients and Practitioners
Diabetes is the fifth leading cause of death from disease in the United States. Through measuring the quality of care provided to diabetes patients and undertaking quality improvement activities, those who serve this population can make a significant impact in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease and the health outcomes of their diabetic patients.
