Issues in Antiretroviral Therapy in the Treatment-Resistant Patient
This program will discuss drug therapy selection for the treatment-resistant patient. The AE, drug interaction, and pharmacokinetic profiles will be addressed. Current Therapeutic Trends in the Treatment of Chemotherapy-Induced Anemia
Anemia is common in cancer patients, but the impact is often poorly appreciated. It is a major cause of tumor hypoxia and also reduces the effectiveness of several anticancer therapies. This activity will discuss the strategies for incorporating clinical guidelines into practice and the safety and pharmacoeconomic issues surrounding treatment of anemia with ESFs.
