This program will feature "in the trenches" players who have prepared for this highly-competitive Medicare drug benefit and shift in market dynamics. The primary components to be discussed include the terminology when identifying events, reporting mechanisms and their effectiveness, the use of data that are reported, and some best practices that all organizations should be addressing.

Emerging Trends in HIV Combination Therapy: The Pharmacology and the Pharmacist
The goal of this CE activity is to proactively engage pharmacists dealing with HIV patients to (1) identify the need for boosted protease inhibitors and other combination therapy (2) recognize areas for increased compliance counseling and (3) communicate any necessary compliance challenges to prescribers will enhance therapeutic outcomes in HIV/AIDS patients.
